Luberon with a toddler

Hi,
I’m wondering if any of you know what it’s like visiting Luberon. We’re going for the day and we have our toddler- and I’m pregnant. We did Arles and Avignon today and it was very difficult dealing with all the steps and steep inclines, stroller on cobblestone, etc.
Would you happen to know if visiting Luberon is more baby friendly? If we go to Roussillon or Gordes, would it be very difficult maneuvering with a baby? Thanks so much!

OK maybe slow down? You”did” Arles and Avignon but what did you “do”? You wore yourself out. As i said in response to your previous post, the Luberon is a large area and the sights are up-hill towns. Maybe pick one destination and savor a day? I’d again suggest the town of Lourmarin which is flat. Stroll, do some cafe time, have a picnic. Stop trying to “do”.

L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue would be OK; it is not quite a village and not quite as postcard-pretty as the Luberon villages, but still very charming and very worthwhile. Same for Pernes-Les-Fontaines.
Also, while a hilltop village, nearby Vénasque has a small parking lot at the top of the hill and is reasonably flat, with even ground: it is worth a shot.

In your situation with a stroller, Gordes is tough, Roussillon a bit less but still not great, Bonnieux and Lacoste would be terrible. Unsure about Ménerbes. Lourmarin is flat, but a bit out of the way.

Thank you for the tips!
We ended up going to L’isle sur la sorgue and Lourmarin. It was perfect! Greatly appreciate your help! And we also drove past Gordes and Roussillon just for the view since it was not walkable for us. Was a lovely day all in all.
