Luberon Hiking Trails

We are planning to spend around 10 days in the Luberon region in May 2017. We are intrigued by the hiking trails. Does anyone have some recent experience hiking the trail from Apt to Gordes and the accuracy of the trail maps? We have the book Walking in France as a resource. Wondering how easy these trails are to find and follow.

Thanks, JoAnn

Are you planning to back-pack? If not, how will you manage your luggage? Headwater (UK) offer a "Landscapes of the Luberon" self-guided hotel to hotel trip with luggage transfers that might suit you, as does InnTravel ("Hill-top villages of the Luberon"). I can highly recommend both these companies.

ETA: Saw you earlier post about Luberon accommodation. Both Headwater and InnTravel select smaller types of accommodation, with plenty of information about their chosen places on their websites.
