We're in Eyragues, Provence. We've seen Arles & Les Baux. Tomorrow we want to drive through the Luberon. Can anyone suggest a good route, preferably one where we won't have bad crowds? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Don't miss Gordes and L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and Abbaye Notre-Dame de Sénanque. The view of the Luberon from Gordes will make want to sit, build a home on your view point and never leave. What ever the route it takes to get there, don't miss those places. L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue has a Sunday or Saturday market day it's great but you must be early!!! to avoid a 1/2 day walk one way to get from your car to the market. On second thought - If you don't like crowds avoid the market day. But don't avoid the town. P.S don't miss any of the other places in the area. Pretty tall order you have placed. I would take the motorways to get as close to the Luberon ASAP so you can spend your time enjoying the little roads and towns of the area.
