When we were on a 9 day Italy itinerary with RS, we were so appreciative to have a guide for the Uffizi. Without the guide, we would have simply walked by many pieces...therefore....
We will be in Paris during early June and I would like to take a guided tour of the Louvre. Any recommendations for a great tour guide/company?

We just returned from Paris & London, we hired a guide to take us to the Louvre, she does some work for Rick Steves,
Joelle Valette Coat [email protected] She is absoultly amazing, Made the visit so fantastic! The Louvre can be overwhelming it is so massive. Joelle is the best! We only had 3 in our group, we wanted a small intimate experience. Well worth it!
I cant recommend her enough!

Paris Walks has a Louvre tour on Fridays. When I did the RS Best of Paris tour years ago they were using Paris Walks at that time...not sure if that is still the case and it may vary from tour to tour.

The Louvre also does guided tours in English. Currently the page is only showing dates thru the end of May so not sure if they are doing them over the summer or not. Certainly worth continuing to check the page to see.
