I am so confused. If I buy two adult timed entry tickets to the Louvre, will I have to wait on a long line to get tickets for my teens? If I buy Skip The Line tickets from other sellers, will I still have to wait on line to get my kids (who are free) to get their tickets? Thank you in advance for any help on this...In Paris in two weeks...
In 2019, we used the Museum Pass for a timed entry for 2 adults. Our two teens did not need tickets, they just walked in with us. The person checking tickets/passes looked at their passports (to verify age, I assume) and waved them through.
If you mean that you are buying your adult timed entry tickets online (via the internet), I believe your teens would just walk in with you. Make sure you bring their passports to prove their age.
There should be an option to reserve Free Entry tickets for your teens for a specific time on the Louvre website. That's how we did it for our kids in June.
We took a 12 year old in April. We bought our tickets and got a reserved ticket for her too which was free -- Kids don't need 'tickets' but need reservations and they are free.
The only place I know of where you cannot book the free reservation on line is the Arc de Triomphe.

General Admission
Under 18s [this is the one you want].
You can reserve free admission tickets for the kids. When you choose your day and timeslot, there are separate options for general admission tickets and under 18 tickets. Just pick the number you need for each in the drop down menu and check out. There will not be a charge for the U-18 tickets.
Thank you so much!
Jabreman,
You posted this question on another thread, so thought I’d post it here so you’ll get your replies by email:
Can someone help me understand how I get a timed reservation for a museum like the Musee Rodin with the museum pass? Leaving in 10 days.
You don’t need a timed reservation for the Rodin Museum.
