I thought I saw in this forum that you could reserve the Louvre 90 days in advance, but I am seeing that October is still grayed out. I am trying to reserve October 2 and it is not available. I just want to confirm I’m not doing something wrong? If anyone else can confirm, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
Funny,
I just looked for that same date. There are some trip advisor comments that it is 60 days out.
I just looked for October also - it is still marked out on every day - and today is August 1st.
Even if it's 60 days sometimes they don't actually open for reservations when you/we think they should, lol (for example at the stroke of 60 days out!). I'd just start checking the official ticketing website every few days since it's Aug 1 today, hopefully they will be open soon for reservations. It looks like right now they are solidly booked 1 week ahead so for your dates in October you will not need to worry about getting something on your day in question!
I just checked today to see if there were any tickets for mid October, and it’s showing all dates from the end of Sept. are crossed off until the end of the year. Kinda strange. Has anyone had any luck getting a ticket two months out? Have they shortened the advance booking time frame?
Here is the response I got from customer service at the Louvre:
Dear visitor,
Tickets for tOctober are not available yet.
Please note that bookings open gradually, no later than five weeks before the start of the month.
At this time, we do not know the exact date these tickets will be available online.
IT OPENED TODAY!!!! Many time slots still open for Paris Museum Pass holders. Good luck to all!
@PokemonMommy - thanks for catching this and posting! Welcome to the forum!
Yay! I've been checking every day (and actually checked this morning before they opened then later they did open). Got my tickets including the Jacque Louis David exhibition. Definitely getting my money's worth out of the Friends of the Louvre pass!
