Louvre Pyramid: Can someone confirm that the lights on the pyramid go out at 11 PM, M-F?

Hello. I’m considering a Le Calife dinner cruise on a Friday night in early April. It appears to be a 10-minute walk to the pyramid, but I’m thinking if we don’t make it while the lights are still on, there is no reason to attempt it that night. I found September 2022 press that the museum would begin turning the lights off at 11 PM as an energy-saving measure (when the time was once 1 AM).

Can anyone confirm for me that the 11 PM time is still current as of 2024? I couldn’t find an FAQ regarding that on the museum website or a way to inquire through the museum.

Many thanks!

I couldn't find anything for 2024, but the last info I could find was Oct, 2023 and it was still going dark at 11pm as of then. I have a feeling that it may be that way for a while as the energy crunch in Europe hasn't abated much since 2022.

Hopefully someone living in Paris or visiting right now will chime in with a definitve answer for you.

Actually France has pretty much emerged from its energy crisis - for example, in 2022 for the first time in 20 or 30 years, France was a net importer of electricity, but in 2023, it returned to being Europe's single biggest exporter of electricity (this is in large part because most of France's nuclear energy park, which had real problems in 2022, for the most part came back on line in 2023, as well as success in diversifying supplies away from Russia, a mild winter, and reduced energy usage).

So there is nothing like the repeated calls this winter for electricity conservation that there were last winter.

That's not to say that maybe the Louvre hasn't kept the 11 pm turning-off time for the big Pyramid! I don't have any idea.
