My wife and returning to Paris this month to celebrate our anniversary. We have been to the Louvre several times and would like to book a private tour that doors not include Mona or Venus. Been there done that. Is that possible? Any recommendations?

Yes! We had a great guide in the Louvre on our trip in May, and will be touring with her again in December. We had booked someone different through ToursByLocals, but she had an emergency and had to cancel and referred us to this lady and we booked direct with her. For our December trip, we specifically told her we didn't need to see the first (or second) visit kind of stuff, and she was very willing to focus on whatever we wanted. I think the guides get tired of the same old loop - I'm sure it's a nice change of pace for them to skip Mona, too.

I can recommend Florent Cardinaux. He is awesome. I have done 4 tours with him, including the Louvre. He took us in the guides door, and through areas we had never been to.
