I'll be in Paris on 4th of September I am planning to visit the Louvre during the evening hours. Just came to know the evening entries on 1st Friday of the month are free. Can someone let me know whether the Louvre Nocturne Gratuite tickets for September 2026 are live yet? Little concerned since it's just a few days away.

It doesn't look like they're free but they are available.
I'm a friend of the Louvre and have not heard of their offering free tickets any time.

I don't think they've been released yet. Some sites are saying they usually release the 1st Friday tickets a week in advance. And they are quickly snatched up.
Do be aware that not all of the rooms are open in the evenings. Additionally, they start shooing people out 30-60 minutes prior to official closing times.
If seeing certain works at the Louvre are important to you, I would suggest purchasing a day time ticket.

In January, we attended the 6 PM mass. We just walked in and sat down. A lovely soprano was singing something in French, which my wife speaks but I do not - beautiful anyway. We go to many churches that way - attend a religious service, get into the church.
