Please help me plan my trip to the Louvre in August. I plan to buy a Museum Pass and know that I need to secure a timed entry to the Louvre. How far in advance should I do this? I assume I use the official Louvre website to secure the timed entry. Thank you!

In the past you could reserve your entry at the Louvre before purchasing the Paris Museum Pass.
Always use the official website for any ticket purchases.

Highly recommend reading "Adventures in the Louvre" by Elaine Sciolino before you go - great background on the Louvre and its many treasures.
