Thanks for sharing this. Absolute necessity given the crowds they attract. I also see it as beneficial towards lesser visited attractions in Paris. If people are priced out of Louvre tickets, maybe they'll go to a lesser known attraction instead
then I won't patronise French museums anymore. I don't particularly like being punished for an action my government took without my permission to brexit, and nor do I particularly like when an EU national government seeks to punish me 5 years later.
Punish the government - don't punish me.
I'll be welcomed in Germany and Switzerland.
I have no problem with this as I am not a taxpayer there. On our recent trip to England, we paid equivalent entrance fees at all museums and churches that were otherwise ‘free’.
