Lost Tombs of Notre Dame (Dec 18 on NOVA)

On PBS' NOVA program this week:

After the devastating 2019 fire at Notre Dame, two mysterious sarcophaguses were discovered under the cathedral’s stone floor. Who is buried in them, and what secrets will these coffins reveal? Follow a team of archaeologists and historians as they attempt to solve centuries-old mysteries using the latest scientific investigation techniques. What can forensic analysis of the remains reveal about one of the world’s most famous cathedrals and those who devoted their lives to it?

Thanks for the information or I would have missed it!! Am currently researching info for a visit in April. Anxious to see it post fire as have been there several times in the past.

Ya, I would be eager to return. The TV pictures of the interior are stunning. We may roll through Paris for one day just to see the cathedral. And I expect the mobs to be huge the first year or so.

In case you missed it, you might be able to see it on demand on PBS. That's what we had to do since our local PBS outlet (Ga. Public Broadcasting) chose to show a high school football game instead at the scheduled time. In most parts of the country football is a sport. In Ga. it seems to be a religion.
