looking to split private history tours April 24-26

We had two awesome experiences with Thierry Collegia (Parisology) but now he only accepts private bookings, so on a wing and a prayer, we're hoping to DIY some groups for him and for Paris in Person, to share the cost and do more tours.

Thierry Collegia (Parisology) – His "Absolute Monarchy" tour of the Marais uses five Bourbon kings (Henry IV through Louis XVI) to explain why and how centralized royal power was built. His "Rise of Napoleon" covers how young Napoleon navigated Revolutionary chaos to crown himself Emperor; that one goes from Saint Germain into the 1st. We'd be happy with both or either.

Boris Petrović (Paris in Person) – PhD from Paris-Sorbonne, runs tours that connect art and architecture to their historical context. We're interested in Neoclassical Paris (mostly 1st and 8th) and Medieval Paris (4th and 5th).

We'd be up for the afternoon of April 24th, anytime April 25th, or morning of April 26th.

History nerds please reach out. Happy to coordinate by PM or in the thread.

Could you post the length of the tours and the full price to be divided depending on the number of participants.
Do you have any experience with the second person?

Hi Elizabeth, Parisology's Absolute Monarchy is listed as roughly 2.5 hours and Rise of Napoleon says roughly 2 hours. Thierry charges 336 USD per group on AirBnb Experiences. Paris in Person's tours are roughly 2 hours. Boris's pricing is staggered: 2 people are 150€ each, 3-4 people are 100€ each, and 5-6 people are 80€ each. I don't have personal experience with Boris. I found him by combing reviews for guides with an approach similar to Thierry's (thematic rather than neighborhood highlights, fun but intellectually serious). For what it's worth, Arival (the review aggregator) put Paris in Person in their Top Ten small tour operators in Europe.
