Looking for additional resources on quarantine procedures if positive

I saw the recent post regarding the requirements for doctor notes to leave the country. I am curious if others have resources to review regarding what happens regarding housing if they don't already have a place to stay. Specifically, we will be in Paris. Can we stay in our hotel and try to extend our stay and order room service? Should we leave the positive person behind and everyone else run away? If the indoor pass dies, does that mean the hotel will kick us out?

I had this concern back in October when I was in Paris. I had a conversation with the Lead person at the Reception desk of my hotel. I have stayed there a number of times so they sort of "know" me but I don't think that made any difference. At that time she said - "we would not know if you tested positive unless you told us because we don't check the Pass". And yes, she continued I could certainly stay there if they had vacancies. Since then I've seen some posts where the Pass was checked by the hotels BUT that was to access the breakfast room.

I also was on the front side of this hotel. There has always been bicycle and motorcycle parking at the end of the street there but this time it was inhabited nearly all day and certainly all evening by Deliveroo and other food delivery drivers so I felt it would be very easy to get food delivered.

The hotels I stay in in Paris do not have room service.
