Hello,
Maybe somebody rented tandem bike in Amboise or nearby city? We are thinking to ride one day on bike from one chateau to another. Can you also recommend one of shortest (and easy) route(s)?

I think I rented through a company called Detours (longer name but started with that). They allowed me to pick up and drop at multiple locations. As I recall a tandem bike was an option. I'd say something along the river is a good day option. The trail will be mostly flat and there is a bike only trail that goes along the river. I biked from Chinon to Villandry (lots of small but somewhat steep hills) and from Villandry to Amboise (flat but lost the bike trail going through Tours). I also rode from Amboise to Chenonceau (a nice ride once you got up the steep hill getting out of Amboise). Maybe from Amboise to Blois would be a good ride? It seems fairly easy, all on dedicated bike trail that's mostly flat. If I hadn't lost the trail and ended up in traffic, Villandry to Amboise would have been a nice ride.
