My husband and I arrived in Paris a few days ago and are spending a month here to celebrate our 40th anniversary. In our 40 years of marriage we have only had professional pictures taken with our kids. We have been to Paris together 7 times and we have a few photos people have taken with our phones and selfies, but I would like to get a few pictures taken by someone who really knows what they are doing. We aren’t interested in photo shoots with props or anything like that, just a nice Parisian landmark or two. Does anyone have someone they have used that they were happy with? Any recommendations would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I think you can find a lot of these people on the airbnb activities page. These things are everywhere now.

I don’t have a personal recommendation, but maybe google wedding photographers and pick one that you like their work. I know your not in a hotel, but if you were, this would be a question for the concierge.

There are many posts about Paris photographers there….some even rent you special dressy clothes it seems.

knowing you have spent much time in paris plus living there. the many times we were in paris we checked out different ways for photos to be taken.
didn't know about airbnb/experiences/paris/photographers since we don't rent from them. after reading about things to do, seemed was their own agenda doing what they want as photo shoots.

we did a tour outside of paris in the vineyards in a 2cv, was fabulous. you choose your landmark, you can ask about taking pictures.

I have never used her as I am not one to want photos of myself, but I have heard fabulous things about Katie Donnelly for years. She is who I would go to if I were looking for special photos.

Wow Kim, I checked out her website and she and her team do amazing work. And then the bubble burst when I saw most people end up paying between €2000-£5000 for their session and their artwork. That’s quite a bit more than we want to spend. I can see why you would want to use her.
I went through the Airbnb Experience photographers and saved three. I will reach out to get more information from them. In the meantime I welcome more recommendations. Thanks to all who have already responded.

Two suggestions: missparisphoto.com and theparisphotographer.com. Krystal (missparisphoto) is an American living and working in Paris. The Paris Photographer has 9 or 10 photographers at different price points. People I know have used both with great success.
