Can you recommend a longer term rental company for the Menton area (say 1-2 months?). If not specifically Menton, perhaps Côte d’Azur in general?

Try gites-de-france. We have used them often and they are very reliable with lots of options. Much better than AirBandB, in my opinion.

As mentioned, try Gites de France or VRBO. The latter seems to attract more longer term listings.
In Nice only, RiveraPebbles is the 1 to 3 month+ version of a local short term rental agency.

Lodgis has some Riviera rentals.

No, I actually meant RivieraPebbles. It is the 1 to 3 month version of NicePebbles, intended for longer term stays. It is a subset of properties and a separate website (with mostly different, longer term properties).
