Does anyone have any favorite vineyards/wineries to visit in Loire? I'm mainly looking in the Saumur/Chinon/Touraine/Vouvray regions. I don't think we'll be over towards Sancerre. Thanks in advance.
I enjoyed the tour at Langlois Chateau in Saumur. There were only 6 of us on the English speaking tour.
Hi There are wineyards around Brezé castle, and, some years ago, they were selling their wine in their cellars, in the park. It was possible to taste. I don't know if it's still the case, but the castle is very interesting, especially the trogloditic undergound parts, and they also sell their wine in their shop, at the entry.
Near Angers : the wineyards of Savennières, visiting also the quaint village of St Aubin de Luigné and the village of Béhuard, and on island of the Loire, just near Savennières.

The underground castle of Brézé is the most interesting chateau I have ever visited. The wine is nice, too.
Thank you for your replies.
