loire valley to aix en provence/ st remy

Arriving CDG and have 4 days until meeting bike tour group in St Remy.
Have been to Paris several times so ok to leave Paris directly from airport.
Would like to go to Loire Valley for 2 days and then head towards Provence/ Aix, St Remy by train, no car please.
Any ideas to bypass having to backtrack to Paris?
And any opinions on Annecy (after bike trip on way back toward Paris)?
Merci

Peggy, nope, can't bypass Paris. (Maybe technically you could cobble together some very long TER route, but I doubt even that.)

Even if you were to drive, the train through Paris would be quicker because TGV.

Adam's reply is too broad. There is a direct TGV from the Loire Valley to Provence that does not go via Paris. For sample dates this spring, I see it leaving St. Pierre des Corps at 14:32 and traveling to Lyon, Valence, Avignon, and Marseille. You can also depart direct from Tours or St. Pierre to Lyon around 8:00 a.m., then connect in Lyon Part Dieu station instead of Paris.
