My family of three will be traveling to the Loire for spring break this year. We are making Amboise our home base to explore the area for six days. I visited the Loire Valley 40 years ago on my first trip overseas as a middle schooler with my French class. That said, I've visited France twice since then (most recently last fall). First, does anyone have experience with the Chambord Pass I have been reading about on the official website -- did you use all the activity opportunities that come with the pass? Second, any tips on how to make the most of Good Friday and Easter? Are there any closures or things to be aware of during these holy days in the LV? Just want to be aware of any possibly closures. Thanks in advance for tips and advice. We will have a rental car as well.
