Can you recommend lodging for Chinon and Ambroise or thereabouts. We don't really need luxury but rather clean, comfortable, and good breakfast. Thank you!

A few years ago, we stayed at Chateau de Nazelles, a B&B a few miles outside of Amboise. Loved it and would definitely stay there again. Not sure what price range you're looking for, but I thought their rates were very reasonable. http://www.chateau-nazelles.com/
