Lodging recommendation for Roussillon (Provence)

I'm looking for a recommendation on a small hotel or chambres d'hôte/B&B in Roussilon. Ideally we'd like to find something either in town or within a 5-15 min walk of town. If it makes any difference we'll be in Provence in mid May. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Rousillon and Provence are actually two different regions of France. They border one another near Avignon but are very different areas. Which are you planning to stay in?

I'm going to assume that Marcus means the town of Roussillon, which is in Provence. I stayed at the Reves d'Ocres in Roussillon in July 2012 and I like it very much. I booked it through booking.com and then found out later that it was a RS recommended hotel. The room I had (a single) was small but had a nice terrace with a wonderful view over the valley below. The owners were as nice as can be and the continental breakfast was very good. It was a bit of an uphill walk to the center of town but good exercise and I liked hanging out there in the evening. Also included free parking in the lot across the street which was a blessing when I would come back to the hotel after exploring the area all day and didn't have to walk too far to the hotel. I'd definitely stay there again. Good budget option.

This mix up between the town and the region happens every time someone asks a question about the town. It's a beautiful place. I was there only for the day so can't recommend, but enjoy.

Marcus,

Ah, I thought so. It's a beautiful town. I stayed there for 5 nights and loved it. Very convenient for visiting that part of Provence (with a car). I'm sure you'll love it.
