We are visiting the Alsace region in early September and will be staying in Strasbourg for 2 nights. Any mid-range recommendations for lodging either in the Petite France or Strasbourg City Centre areas?
Thanks!
No idea what mid-range means for you, but there are a few hotel right across from the train station. They include a couple from the Ibis chain and a Mercure. There’s also an Ibis by Petite France. The historic center of Strasbourg isn’t all that large.
Ibis is a budget friendly chain with few frills, but perfectly fine.
Enjoyed my stay at the reasonably priced and well located Hotel Rohan. About 50 feet from the cathedral and a 2 minute walk to the tourist office.
We found Hotel le Grillon near train station and tourist area rated 8.3 on booking.com and $120/night in late June.
We stayed at the Hotel Hannong 10 years ago, and loved it. Currently it is the No. 1 Strasbourg hotel on Trip Advisor. You can walk there from the train station, and I believe the rates are mid-range.
I’m also in Strasbourg in early September for 4 days and have booked the Citadines Kleber hotel which has a small kitchenette. Very handy to everything. 10 mins walk to Cathedral.
Price per night approx €115 for studio
I stayed at Maison Rouge Strasbourg Hotel & Spa a couple years ago and the location was perfect. The hotel was really nice too.
Any hotels near this area would be ideal for sight seeing and is a 15 minute walk to the train station.
