Looking for lodging in Bayeux for 4 nights in September. Most interested in quaint inns and B&Bs.
We just stayed in an AirBnb rental two weeks ago, but noticed VillaLaura and Hotel Lion d’Or both looked really nice and had wonderfully central locations.
We stayed at Villa Aggarthi bed and breakfast for three nights in September and going back in October..we loved it. Only block and half from the tapestry. Everything was superb. We also took private tour of the WWII beaches with HQCompany and it was one of the best things we ever did. Enjoy your visit.
I stayed a few nights at Hotel Reine Mathilde and would not hesitate to stay there again.
It's a small inn so don't let the word "hotel" deter you.
We loved Le Petit Matin. It’s a B&B in a lovely building, beautiful gardens. Comfy nicely decorated rooms with a wonderful breakfast prepared by the host. They were most helpful with directions and restaurant reservations.
I also stayed at the Rhein Mathilde. Small boutique hotel. Very charming. Right in the center of everything.
I was in an annex building. Very nice.
We have stayed at both the Rhein Mathilde as well as the Churchill Hotel and loved both.
