My family and I will be traveling through CDG on our way home from Spain on the morning of December 30. I've gotten bumped at CDG before; it was great; I want to do it again but want to forego the airport hotel for lodging in the city. Assuming I can get us bumped, would it be possible for me to find a place in Paris on such short notice just before New Years Eve, or is my premise just ridiculous? What can I say--I'm a dreamer.
