Lodging 3 September Nights in Lyon

Looks like this time of year in Lyon is high season. We are 67, love to walk, enjoy good food and wine, appreciate live music, art and more strolling. Comfy digs are crucial for sleep. Particularly like historic guest houses with a personal touch. Recommendations based on experience welcome. Thank you!

Le Phenix has everything going for it, especially for walkers. Great location, great connections, history, friendly staff.
You might even get a window overlooking the Saone.
(This is assuming you won't have a car and can handle some French or some charades to get your point across)
