Lille to Bordeaux by Train

Planning on doing this (taking Eurostar from London to Lille) and wonder if connections are easy. Understand I have to go to different terminal after getting off Eurostar at Lille ,wondering if it's a long walk or easy. Has anyone done this? This route seems easier than going on to Paris Gard du Nord and having to get to Montparnasse train station.

The stations in Lille are about a 10-minute walk from each other -- a walk down Avenue le Corbusier. The Eurostar comes into Lille Europe on the lower level. Are you sure that there are connections from Lille to Bordeaux that work with your travel plans that avoid having to go into Paris? There are not a lot trains per day from Lille to Bordeaux that do not require a change in Paris. The one that I know of does leave from Lille Flandres so you would have the easy walk mentioned above. See http://www.seat61.com/France.htm#Changing%20trains%20in%20Lille for pointers on changing between the two Lille stations.
