Le Marais

In mid July, I will have 2 days in Paris. I am looking for recommendations for tours of the Le Marais. And budget friendly restaurants.
I will arrive by train to Paris, after a cruise that ends in Rotterdam.

I plan to spend one day walking and sightseeing.
The second day, I plan to explore the La Marais ( 4 arrondissement ).
I plan to stay at the CitzenM Paris Gare d’Lyon hotel, ( 12 arrondissement ).

Recommendations for walking tours of La Marais, restaurants near my hotel or the Le Marais, and has anyone stayed at this hotel, and is the location of the hotel good for my plans.

Thanks!

I've always enjoyed the walking tours I've taken with Paris-Walks. Here is a link to their website although depending on when you are visiting, they indicate they will not be doing tours during the Olympics. They do offer a walking tour of the Marais on Tuesday and Saturday if you will be in town on those days.

There are a lot of good falafel restaurants in the Marais. Budget friendly and yummy!

L’ As du Fallafel……..in the heart of the Marais…..THE BEST and so cheap……get your gyro, walk down the street and into the sweet small gate-entrance park and have a seat on the bench and enjoy your treat…….
