Le Havre port, tours, trains?

Hi, we have an overnight stop in Le Havre in a couple of weeks. Arrives at 7am and leaving at 11:59pm the following night.

I’d love to make it into Paris (I’ve only had layovers there on two different days and my husband has never been) but we’d also like to see Omaha Beach and some of the other D-Day sites like the American cemetery. (I’d also love to see the Joan of Arc sites in Rouen and the Monet house in Giverny and the tapestry in Bayeux but time is so limited!). :)

How feasible is it to catch a 9am train, find a tour or maybe find a Paris highlights in a day step-by-step guide, spend the night there and catch morning train to Bayeux for a 1/2 day DDay tour and then transportation back to Le Havre?

Thanks all! It’s my first time posting here and I’m certain it won’t be my last. I actually have 30 Rick Steve’s episodes on my DVR and have been watching the episodes relevant to this upcoming cruise. :)
I welcome advice for any of the ports. I booked it only last week.

Dublin
Belfast
Liverpool
Cork
Dover
Le Havre
Bruges
Amsterdam

Also, can anyone tell me what “without seat” means on the train options? It shows “without” for all levels of ticket (1st and 2nd class). Is that standing room for over 2 hours or does it mean unassigned seating?
Thank you!

Le Havre-Paris is almost 3 hours, while Bayeux-Le Havre is almost the same. You’d be cutting both too short. You could go to Paris and stay a bit over 24 hours, arriving around 10 and leaving later the next day. What excursions is your ship offering? Here’s where you can check travel times:

Thank you! I thought the train to Paris was about two hours and I didn’t realize how far Bayeux actually was. It looked much closer. Rookie mistake. Thanks again.
