Layover in CDG

I have a 6 hour layover in the middle of the day at CDG. From Atlanta to Cairo if that makes any difference. Is it worth it to get a Yotelair room for a few hours?

It's probably not worth it to get a Yotelair room - it will take you at least an hour, if not more to get through passport control to Terminal F (if you're lucky), and then you'll want to get to your gate early, so you're probably looking at 4 hours of time at the most.

That said, I had a 7 layover at CDG a couple of months ago and I went to the new AirFrance lounge in Terminal F. It's 2 floors and has just about anything you would want - good food, drinks, coffee, and relaxation pods with curtains in a separate area for resting/sleeping. You can also take a shower there (and the showers are VERY nice). I paid €58 for access the lounge and considered it well worth it.

Definitely worth paying for something, lounge or airside hotel. I don’t know what the Yotel runs, but a two hour nap bookended by showers would sound pretty great in the middle of that itinerary.

Yotel is in terminal 2 E-L, within the secure area. Passport control is not a factor as long are cindy remains airside.

For a 6 hour layover, I would definitely consider it.

Totally worth it if you don't have access to an airport lounge. We just did that on our trip in May. If I remember the minimum you pay for is 6 hours we used it for 4 hours - nice cool quiet room - great nap!
