I am flying from Toronto to Jordan with a 6 hour layover at CDG . I am I flying with Air France and hoping to just do carryon. Would anyone know if there is a place to store bag? Would I have to change terminals and go threw customs? or can I just stay in the same terminal

What terminal are you arriving to? The left luggage facility office is located in terminal 2, beside the TGV-RER Railway station (opposite Sheraton Hotel). You will have to exit the secured area to leave the luggage.
You didn't ask, but I'd advise against trying to get into Paris and do any real sightseeing on a six-hour layover. If you and your carry-on take only half an hour from deplaning through passport control, and you return to the airport three hours before your next international flight, that leaves two and a half hours. Getting into and out of central Paris will likely take at least an hour, leaving you maybe an hour and a half in the city. Not enough time to do much, and constant worrying about the schedule. Six hours is a long time in an airport but I still wouldn't chance it.
Thank you I am not planning on going into Paris. I have a week in Paris on my way home in October. I am trying to get done ideas for my layover. It looks like I arrive and leave from terminal 2. So I am thinking I may just stay in the terminal if there are enough options for food.
