Hi,
I heard that the lavender has bloomed early this year. We will be in Provence from July 15-22. Is it likely that we will be too late to see the lavender still in bloom in some fields?

You may be too late for the lavender, but Provence will still smell fragrant with all the Herbs such as Rosemary and Thyme.

That kind of depends on where you will be. The lavender in different areas peaks and is harvested at different times (higher elevations and drier areas bloom a bit later) and there will sometimes still be fields in bloom toward the end of July or beginning of August. If you know that it has bloomed early in the area that you will be visiting, then you may be out of luck, but it may be something you don't know until you get there.
