Could anyone recommend a place for an early dinner on a Sunday in June near St. Ephrem Church in the Latin Quarter? We have tickets for a musical recital at 7:00 and want to eat beforehand. We are 2 senior citizen couples and do not want to walk too far, less than ½ mile.
Here are a few places I have enjoyed in the past
couple of years.
Cafe Panis is about a 10 minute walk. Casual restaurant across from Notre Dame.
Breizh Cafe Odeon, about a 15 minute walk. Known for their crepes. I've not been to this one, but did have lunch at their Marais location.
Huguette is about a 15 minute walk. A seafood restaurant that takes reservations.
Most restaurants don't open but until 7 pm or so. You'll need to find a place offering all day service.
Like jeanm, I have been to Breizh Cafe, but the St Germain one. Excellent food (Breton crepes are the specialty) and reasonable prices. We went for lunch. I would definitely go back. I haven't been to her other recs.
Restaurants will not be open before 19h00. You´ll want to check cafés or bistros. This one is very good, not far from Église Saint-Éphrem:
