I visited the Chateau LaRochepot, just south of Beaune, 11 years ago. Will be back in the area with my family in just 2 weeks and would like to return to the castle.
I understand that the property has just changed hands. Has anyone visited it under new ownership?
When I was there, in the shoulder season, you would just show up and latch onto the next tour, which was in French. Is it still that informal, or are reservations required? Are there ever any English-language tours?
