LaMarine 55bis Quai de Valmy

I would like a bit more feedback on this restaurant. It has only a 3.6 review however the pix look upscale and beautiful. Is it worth going to? Do mostly Parisians eat here?

I see it as a 4.3 on Google. It looks like a solid Parisian brasserie, nothing upscale really and nothing too special but does not seem like a bad choice either. I have passed by many times, noticing the fake flowers outside (many restaurants have these, it is a trend here), but I have never been.
Truth is, there are TONS of restaurants around the canal, most of them frequented by local, and most of them pretty good thanks to stiff competition!
Chez Prune has a nicer terrace than La Marine, never tried the food. Maria Belza has good SW French food, I had a good meal there last fall (a bit expensive, though). I really like Les Enfants Perdus but it is not directly on the canal. Mme Shawn is decent but overpriced Thai food, would not recommend beyond the lunch special (that one is a good deal) if you are tired of French food. This leaves literally dozens of restaurants I never tried!
