We are on a cruise that will stop in Bordoeau in mid Sept. We are really going to be in LaRochelle. I did not find anything is Rick's france guide for that area. Any suggestions on tours what to do there. Thank you

The question is confusing. La Rochelle and Bordeaux are both ports on the Atlantic coast but they are a hundred miles apart.
Have you looked at other guidebooks (they're both probably mentioned in the Michelin Green), read any history of France (skim quickly for Aquitaine), looked at maps of wine producing areas, looked at pictures of walled ports, tried alternate spellings of the place names, looked at your cruise literature?

In addition to the recommended Michelin Green guides (and some info they have online), you can also buy single chapters as you need them from Lonely Planet guides.
