My travel partner and I would like to visit the summit of La Planche, recently sometimes a mountain stage finish on the TDF. (We are both big TDF fans!) That’s all: just drive up and back down. Does anyone have experience driving up the La Planche or visiting the vicinity in the Vosges Mountains there in general? Our visit would be in October, not during the winter ski season.
