How could you not? Considering what your trip cost, flight, hotel, entry fees, food, this isn't much money at all . . .and probably a thoroughly delightful experience that will be much more memorable than yet another photo of the Eiffel Tower.

I did the market class in 2013 and thought is was well worth the time and cost. We all met with the chef at the Maubert market (the market visited depends on the day of the week). She spent quite a bit of time talking about the market and explaining how to pick out the freshest produce and other foods. As a group we decided to prepare fish, and we selected and purchased all of the ingredients for a 3 course lunch plus a cheese course. The food and wine was included in the cost. We all walked back to the school, which is on the Right Bank across from Notre Dame (the market is on the Left Bank). Upon arrival, we were greeted with fresh hot coffee and had a chance to relax while the staff prepped the ingredients. There were 10 or 2 of us, and once we started cooking, we were each assigned a task. The chef walked us through the process, explaining everything as we went. When the food was ready, we each plated our own lunch and enjoyed the fruit of our labors. It was really fun and thoroughly enjoyable.

The cost of the flight plus housing, is minimal for the chance you'll be taking to cook.
I say go for it.
