Thank you. I have done that. I was hoping to hear from others experience if they had visited.

And then, ultimately, there is the drinking of a particular wine: an almost entirely subjective experience. (One would think.)

I have not been there, but I've heard good things about it. I believe that unlike other wine museums, you can try wine there, as well as learn about wine. But if you're principally interested in trying wines while in Bordeaux, a good place is a wine bar called Wine More Time (despite the tacky name): http://winemoretime.blogspot.com/. And I know there are others, but that's the only one I've been to.

We went about a year ago. I learned a lot about the history of wine making and the different vineyards in business all of the world and recommend it. You get a glass
of wine of your choice from their selection at the end of the visit.
