Hi, does anyone know if L’Orangerie is open week of August 3rd? I look online last week and there were plenty of tickets and then tonight (6/21) all there are no tickets available until August 15. Any ideas what’s up? Website glitch or something else?

They may be closed due to the Olympics. The Orangerie is very close to the place de la Concorde, where stadiums are being built and four Olympic sporting competitions will take place. The Orangerie is basically right on top of this.
For security reasons, they may have been told to close -- or maybe they just don't know for sure yet what the situation will be like -+ will their employees be able to get to work, will visitors be able to access the museum -- so maybe they are holding off on selling tickets as they try to determine what may be possible.
