June Tour

Hello. I hope to find a suggestion about my travel after the RS South of France Tour which ends for us in Nice on June 30th. My conundrum is whether to stay in Nice a couple nights after the tour ends and take a day trip to Monaco on one of those days or actually go to Monaco and stay there a night. Thank you in advance.

Its a 25 minute train ride, quicker than a cross-town bus.

I think breaking banks is the whole point of Monaco so don't expect any reasonable lodging.
