July 26th--Paris Airspace Closed

Don't know if this has already been mentioned, but saw this over on FlyerTalk. From 19:00 to midnight on July 26th, because of the Olympics...

"All Airspace will be closed for 150km around Paris between 19.00 and 00.00. Roissy (CDG) and Orly (ORY) will be closed for that period of time."

If you happen to have had a flight scheduled into Paris for those 5 hours, I'm sorry.

This has been known for quite some time already, perhaps even as long as one year. All the flights that were impacted by this decision have long since been cancelled or rescheduled.

Yes, this has been known since at least last November (news story in French), and I would assume if it were in a public news story in November, airlines and relevant parties have known even longer.

Airlines may have varied in how proactively they rescheduled their flights, but as dutch_traveler says, at this point this has long since been dealt with.

You can see on Google Flights if you're curious. On 25 July for example, there are 13 nonstop flights from CDG to JFK departing anywhere between 08:30 and 20:30, but on 26 July there are 11 and the last one departs at 16:45.
