Sorry for any mistakes in this message as I am in the airport on my way to Paris. I had just come across a site that indicates that access to the parade site on the Champs requires a ticket. In order to get past security to watch the parade on the Champs you need a QR code. My confirmation email from the Elysee Palace indicates that I will receive a QR code one to two days before the parade. Again I apologize for the lack of more info on this but please check it out.

Sortiraparis.com says for the first time pre-order registraton is required as of 1 day ago. There is a link on that site.

The website for pre-registering for access to the July 14th parade indicates that it is no longer possible to obtain an access QR code. Maximum capacity has likely been reached.
