My husband and I are going to Paris in the beginning of April. We have a dinner reservation at Jules Verne and wanted to know the dress code. Can my husband wear dark jeans with a collar shirt and sports jacket or does he have to wear a pair of slacks/dockers with a collar shirt and sports jacket? TIA
Dress code
We inform you that an elegant outfit is required, short pants and sportwear will not be allowed. Suits jackets are mandatory for gentlemen, and we reserve the right to refuse access to the restaurant in case of non-respect of this dress code

This the place?
Back in April 2023, I did not wear a sport jacket, but I did wear a long sleeve dress shirt with a tie and nice slacks and black dress shoes. I wore a Columbia fleece jacket, because it was cold in April. We were not turned away. Don't know if the dress code has changed since then, but definitely dress up the best you can for this restaurant. I don't recommend the jeans, I'd wear the slacks/dockers with a collar shirt and wear the sport jacket, if you have it. I didn't want to pack a sport jacket that I would only wear at this restaurant, so I didn't pack one.

You can see photos of casually dressed customers.
The link provided by Carole, looks to be a lunch time service; perhaps a bit more strict at dinner time?
OP didn't specify what time of day their reservation is.
