JetBlue to Paris?

I have several frequent flyer miles on JetBlue. I believe they fly seasonally to Paris. Anyone have any experience with this, good or bad?

I have flown JetBlue transatlantically, albeit to London and not to Paris.

Pros (in my opinion, some of these are clearly subjective)

  • Most comfortable seating in Economy
  • Entertainment system is fairly modern
  • Most interesting food options (but see cons!!)

Cons

  • No hot food in Economy -- they used to have some hot options, but for a variety of reasons all options are cold/chilled
  • Poor recovery options -- I believe JetBlue only operates 1 BOS-CDG and 1 JFK-CDG service daily. If things go wrong, JetBlue is not in an alliance, nor do they rebook onto non-JetBlue flights, so recovery can be more challenging than on other airlines.

I flew from Boston to Paris on JetBlue last October. I agree with Aaron’s post above. Nothing extraordinary about services but nothing terrible to complain about. TV/entertainment choices were good with additional plus being you could watch live TV. The food was terrible. On the way back home, we only had two choices — both of them were croissant sandwiches. They had left the sandwiches out to thaw, but the croissant was so soggy and wet, the whole thing was inedible. The drink choices were good. Would I fly JetBlue again to Europe? Probably, if the price is right.

I've flown JetBlue Mint to Paris and have to say it was pretty amazing. Their planes are narrow-body, with a one-one configuration in their business class. Best food and beverage I've had on an American carrier. Very comfortable pod seats. And a very large TV screen. If you can fly their Mint product, I'd highly recommend it.
