Jazz Manouche: Monk La Taverne de Cluny?

Hi Folks,

Wondering if anybody has been to Monk La Taverne de Cluny? I see they have some jazz Manouche on April 3rd (most Sundays actually), and I contacted them to get a reservation. Has anybody eaten there? I seem to get a wide variety of reviews on the internet. I am going mainly for the music and the beer (evidently, they have a great beer selection!). But grabbing dinner may be in the cards as the music starts at 8.

I doubt if they would take a reservation a month in advance, and do you really think you need one? If so, have your hotel's front desk call and make it for you, there will be no miscommunication

Thanks Phred. Required? maybe not. I don't need to have the hotel contact them, I have done that already. My question isn't how to make a reservation :-), its has anybody gone here? eaten the food? have any other suggestions for Jazz manouche?
