Bonjour - we are headed to Europe soon, including a several days in Paris and we'd love to go hear some jazz with our 2 two teenage boys, who both play instruments. Recommendations for a good place to hear some music in the evening that is still appropriate and possible to take two kids to? Many thanks in advance for any ideas.
Ducs de Lombard in the first is totally fine for teens. How old your boys? 15 and over? Then absolutely no worries. 13 and 14 would be fine also but they may feel out of place. There is also a place next to the Pullman Gare Montparnasse called Le Petit Journal Montparnasse that I think is underrated as place to have a meal and enjoy live music. There is also Autour di Midi on Rue Lepic in Montmartre.
Thank you, JHK, the kids are 14 & 16.
I think you will be fine at the places that I mentioned. Autour might be tiny bit rowdier because of its location so maybe check out the first two. Stayed next to Petit Journal a couple of years ago and it was fine for teens.
