Bayeux accomodation

I edited the original title referencing a specific hotel. I have found a VRBO right in Bayeux with a/c, so if that's accepted I am much happier all the way around: Studio Thiaumerie. Is anyone familiar with this apartment? It is owned by someone who also has a B&B, La Thiaumerie.
Thanks!

I checked out the temps from last summer. Even on the warmest day I could find, the high was 83, but the low was all the way down to 61. I think that climate would be fine without AC. In June this year some nights the temps dropped all the way down to 39.

We stayed in that studio for three nights 5 or 6 weeks ago. It was incredibly well located, right off the main street, but through a locked door into a courtyard and then into the studio so it was totally, absolutely quiet. It was not enormous, but there was a good bathroom, a fine small kitchen area, a couch and a good bed. The place was immaculate, the bed linens were terrific. The owner was lovely and helpful with ideas. In fact, they picked us up at the train station in Bayeux the afternoon we arrived and brought us to the studio and gave us a walk through. There is also a notebook with info about the studio and the area. Good choice.

Thanks, Kathy. All the online reviews I read were excellent but it's good to hear your specific details.

"... not enormous...." sounds like realtor-speak for "pretty small" :)

It's okay, we're not going to sit in our room!

Celeste,
While downtown in Bayeux, my wife and I ate at a very nice, reasonably priced creperie called Au Louis d'Or. It's on Rue du Bienvenu about a block NW from the cathedral. And if you need a Laundromat we found one (Lavomatique) on Rue des Bouchers, across the street from the Century 21 real estate office. Enjoy Bayeux!
