itinerary to include 6 nights in Paris and an additional 9 nights in champagne and Alsasce regions

My husband and I will be flying into Paris at the end of March and are spending 6 nights in Paris. We have an additional 9 nights to travel in the regions of Champagne and Alsasce. I would rather not rent a car for long distances but would rely on trains , buses, local transportation, and perhaps a driver for a day.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
