My husband and I will fly into CDG, landing around 9pm, Dec. 27. Our next flight is Jan. 7 to London. In between, we want to be in Lisieux for a few days for a deep dive into St. Therese of Lisieux. Then we want to tour the D-Day locations (I've looked at RS's recommendations on that). Beyond that, we are open to suggestions of what to do in that area of France. We plan on renting a car so we'll be free to go wherever and do whatever. Any recommendations for hotels in Lisieux? Any recommendations for holiday celebrations in that area of the world? Anything you think is a MUST SEE? Thanks in advance for suggestions.
